2007 Janurary Minutes Meeting Agenda Meeting called to order at 7:30 Read/Motion to Accept Agenda (See Appendix A): - agenda was accepted Roll call: Clubs not present included, Bass Finatics, Clearwater, White Mountain Bass Club . OFFICERS REPORTS: Secretaries’ report: The Dec minutes, by Dave Duffy and accepted as is. Treasurers’ report: The Dec 2006 Treasurers report, by Bob Winslow was presented and accepted as is. Bob took checks and cash for the banquet. At the time of the meeting Bob was using his own computer. The computer for the treasures was now fixed and Rob was going to give it to Bob after the meeting. Vice President's report:Nothing new from the vice president. President’s report: Rob said he wants the minutes from the secretary in one week. At that time we could get them on the web site as a rough draft . We would have a hard copy of the minutes at each meeting as we do now . It was suggested that there is no need to use the time at the meeting to read the minutes. Members can look them over and accept them as is .Rob was unable to attend the Dec meeting because he had car troubles. The laptop is now working and he will get it to Bob Winslow after the meeting. Dave and Bob have state team checks and will mail them out to all team members. Rob said he will stay as president for this year but is still looking for someone to take the position . Mike Mac has offered to help with sponsorship duties. The banquet is coming up and Rob thanked John Woodman for his work setting it up . The state team will receive plaques and jackets at the banquet. Rob thanked Bob Hurst for his work at getting the permits for the new year. It was decided by the BOD since the Nov meeting that the spring open would be on Winni, the summer open would be on Winni, and the fall open would be on Winnisquam . The date change for the fall open is Oct 14 . Rob suggested that the state team and all members get the word out and promote the opens so we can get more boats the tournaments. Youth Directors report: Ray passed around a sign up sheet for the youth events. He said that you do not have to do a casting kids event, but if you did that would be good. Ray suggested that when clubs are making their tournament schedule for the year, at that time they could save a slot for their kids event. Ray has seen the new FLW casting kids kits, he will get some and if clubs are going to hold an event they could get the kit from Ray. The older junior bassmasters will field a team with the FLW. The kids need all the support they can get. Ray said he picked up five more kids. The kids have six tournaments. The JWT is next month, (FEB). Legislative & Conservation Director, PVA Director, Tournament Director, State Team Rep, Committee Rep reports / updates: PVA Director Gary Clauson . Gary handed out a thank you letter from himself and a list of tournaments for this coming year. Gary also thanked everyone that helped out this year on Winni and all for buying raffle tickets. Everyone that wants to help out this year as a boat captain can go online and sign up. The top for from these tournaments will fish Sandy’s open for a new ranger boat. The PVA raised a lot of money at the RHF show for the NH PVA. Legislative Director Dick Smith – The new legislative people are way behind, and they still have not posted any bills. Dick talked on the phone with the NH marine patrol to get info on accidents on NH bodies of water(The five big lakes) Conservation Director Dick Smith – Dick had a update about the squam lake parking situation. They have a meeting next week with all involved (Jan30). Dick and others are coming up with a standard for lake access . If you cant park a certain amount of trailers or cars than they do not want that body of water to be stocked. OLD BUSINESS: Fed banquet Saturday , the directions are on the Bass Fed web site. Nothing new on the constitution Bylaws.
